Shipping & Returns

Shipping:

Free Shipping on all orders, always.

Every piece from The Salted Monkey is handmade to order, just for you! Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number for your package. All orders ship via USPS from our studio in the Carolinas.


Returns & Exchanges:

We want you to love your jewelry, handcrafted with care in the Carolinas! If you are not satisfied with your order, we offer:

  • Refunds on returned, unworn merchandise ordered through our website within 15 days of delivery.
  • Store credit or exchanges on returned, unworn merchandise ordered through our website within 30 days of delivery.

How to Submit a Return Request:

Click the profile icon in the store's menu, or go to the refund policy or a returns page, and then request a return.

  1. Sign in to your account. In the "Email" field, enter your email address, and then click "Continue". In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email. Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
  2. Click "Request return" for the order that you want to submit the return for. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
  3. Select a return reason and add a note for the store. Click "Request return".

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label. After the product is returned, you receive a refund.

 Return eligibility requirements:

  • Items must be unused and in the same condition as received, with tags attached and in original packaging.
  • Items marked “Final Sale” are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
  • Refunds must be submitted within 15 days of delivery; exchanges or store credit within 30 days.
  • Only jewelry purchased from thesaltedmonkey.com is eligible. For items purchased from retail partners, please contact the retailer directly.
  • Custom pieces, alterations, or unique designs are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Returns not meeting these criteria will be returned at the customer’s expense.

Refunds:

Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to confirm. Refunds will be processed automatically to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days. Please note it may take longer for your bank to reflect the refund. Refunds on sale items will be processed at the sale price.

 

Discounts & Promotions:

  • Only one discount code per order. Codes cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
  • No price adjustments on previous purchases or price matching.

 

Sale Period Returns:

For orders placed during sales, if a return affects the terms of the original sale, remaining items may revert to full price. Standard return/exchange policies still apply.


Damages & Repairs:

Inspect your items upon receipt. Defective or damaged items can be replaced within 15 days of delivery. Repairs after this period may incur a fee, valid up to 12 months from purchase.

To request a repair or replacement, email returns@thesaltedmonkey.com with:

  • Name, email, and order number
  • Images of the damaged item(s)
  • Description of your request

Please note: This policy does not cover lost items, normal wear and tear, improper use or storage, or modifications by third parties. Only jewelry purchased from thesaltedmonkey.com is eligible.
